Squat Vase
I just bought my first hookah?
My friend and I share the cost of a hookah today. It was one of the smallest on the board (we are poor students), and is perhaps a foot high. It seems a bit short and stocky, we thought it was cute:) The vase is perhaps 5 inches in diameter, fits in one hand. We found it difficult to smoke. We set it up: water, tobacco in the upper part, the sheet with the holes drilled, coal and beautiful red. It seemed difficult to draw smoke (even tasted good!). We wondered, since we are noobs and never put up a front on our own, is there an optimal way to implement? More or less water, and how complete? How many holes shot into the top? How should we pack the bowl tight? And etc etc. Any advice would be great! We thought that makes us feel good for our first try though!
Less packed shish very loose more. start the charcoal on the edge of the intestine and move Slowly you smoke. Add ice water. Test the draw before adding the hot coal. It should draw easily.
