Would 55 be one gallon tank big enough for a stingray glass of water?

I'm debating taking my Oscar and my 55 gallons of BGK and sell them (because they grow up anyway tank) and to a stingray. My cup of tea LFS sells only lines, and I wonder if any of 55 gallons would be appropriate. I think it's 4x2, so it would have enough room to move. It would by itself or with an African butterfly fish. I would also buy an additional filter for aquarium

It would be acceptable as a baby and maybe a minor, but at the age adults, these need about 125 gallons. Their tails preeetty long, and they get upset if there is not enough room for her.
